According to the news of the World News Agency, the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka, including the northern coastal areas of Russia, was near the center of this powerful earthquake, due to which the tremors were felt more in the same city.
While the Geological Department said the quake was 55 kilometers from the city and had a depth of 18 miles, powerful tremors were felt up to 100 kilometers away.
According to reports, a tsunami warning has been issued in the area after the tremors of the earthquake, while rescue personnel have also been alerted.
According to the news, no loss of life or property has been reported due to the powerful earthquake.
"Most of the aftershocks are incomprehensible, but we are on full alert," the local emergency authority said on Telegram.
