RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has said that if the government does not accept the decision of reserved seats and tries to extend the chief justice, then we will protest.
In an informal conversation with journalists in Adiala Jail, Imran Khan said that our situation is worse than Bangladesh. Hasina wajid had installed army chief, chief justice and police chiefs and put all the opposition, including Jamaat-e-Islami, against the wall. All these things have happened in Pakistan and are happening.
Imran Khan further said that before the election, our party was cracked down in the name of May 9. Those who stole the footage of May 9 did May 9. Half of our leadership was captured and jailed and half of our leadership went underground.
He said that the Chief Justice and the Election Commission were mixed. The army chief had supported him, but on February 8, his entire plan failed. Hearing my contact with the establishment makes them shiver. If the government does not accept the decision of reserved seats and tries to give extension to the Chief Justice, we will protest.
The PTI founder further said that when people came out in Bangladesh, the army refused to fire on its people. Hasina Wajid's atrocities on the students backfired. The situation in Bangladesh and Pakistan is no different. Despite atrocities, our party won on February 8. At present, 90 per cent of the people are with the PTI.
Imran Khan said that he has committed a big fraud in the election, he fears that if the constituencies will be opened, then all his theft will be exposed. That's why they want their judges to sit in tribunals. They know that such a big fraud cannot be hidden. They are not giving us reserved seats. The former Rawalpindi commissioner said that 70,70,000 winners were defeated. First they violated the constitution by not holding elections in two provinces and now the constitution is being violated again by not implementing the supreme court's decision.
"I never called the party a street movement, there was no call for peaceful protest even before May 9. If the Supreme Court's decision is not accepted, then I have started starting a street movement. I thought the country's economy was bad and there should be no protest. The present government wants to change the constitution by establishing a two-thirds majority so that Qazi Faez Isa can be re-appointed as the Chief Justice. The nation is waiting, the lava is ripe, only one oil is needed, everything will be destroyed. Whatever they do, the Pakistani army will not fire on the people. I am warning them that the idol of fear has been broken, now people are ready to go to jails and give their lives.
Imran Khan said that we have an FIR against the US in the form of a cipher, I do not know what information Hasina Wajid has. In response to a question, the PTI founder said that the Election Commission has committed fraud, we should expect it to give justice, so we have got a stay. They have amended the Election Act to block the Supreme Court's decision and now they want to get a two-thirds majority by amending the constitution as well.
The FOUNDER of PTI said that if our demands have to be rejected, then do it. You don't talk, I'm in no hurry. Pti's popularity is increasing.
