Luxury boat sinks after being hit by a typhoon in Italy; 1 passenger dead, 6 missing
According to the World News Agency, a 56-meter-long luxury boat was engulfed by a typhoon on the coast and large waves of water entered, causing the boat to sink.
The boat sank 50 meters into the sea with 22 people on board. All the passengers also drowned. During the rescue operation, 15 passengers including the British girl were rescued alive.
One passenger has also been pulled out dead while 6 passengers are still missing for whom diver rescue operations have been launched.
According to the local media, the sinking of this luxury yacht took place when the hurricane engulfed the yacht in the middle of the night and high waves of water entered the yacht.
